How many Juniors are there at the Club?

In total there are over 80 junior members at RND and this number is growing rapidly.  Its easy to see why? The Junior section has a captain - Ollie Tanton and a Vice Captain  - Ben Keen . Many juniors compete in weekend competitions at the club and we have many successful players at county and local level.

The relaxed, fun atmosphere, the fantastic practice facilities and coaching available makes RND the best place to play and learn golf whatever your age or ability.

What facilities are there?

At Royal North Devon Golf Club there are fantastic practice facilities available well as a Championship golf course that just happens to be the oldest course in England!

* Pimpley Ground short course - go there!
* Two indoor nets
* Practice putting green
* Practice chipping green
* Practice bunkers
* Practice ground

Is there much Junior coaching available?

If you feel like you want to be the next Rory McIlroy or if you just want to have fun learning a new sport PGA Coaches Iain Parker and Mike Wilson   will be on hand to help you out, along with new assistant Ross Daniel

Two coaching session take place on Saturday mornings for an hour each between the following times:
09.00 - 10.00  and 10.00 -11.00

Sunday morning coaching takes place from
1000 - 11.00

Junior Competitions

The Juniors compete in competitions all year round and vary between Stablefords and Medals which always give the Juniors a chance to lower their handicap and win prizes ranging from Bronze trophy's to Mars Bars !( see junior competitions schedule for dates )
